Her name is Ashlind McKay. She's a photographer and a videographer, and that is the smallest part of what she does here.

You'll notice her the first morning and forget her by the second - not because she isn't there, but because she never asks anything of you. No angles. No "wait, do that again". She simply moves with the week: into the woods before the dew lifts, up to the long table, out to the field at the hour the light goes long and gold.

And she sees what you'll miss, because you'll be too busy living it. The half-second your shoulders finally come down. The moment the laughter stops being on purpose. The way you look at someone you met four days ago as though you'd known them for years.

So switch your phone off. Really off, in a drawer, for the whole week. You won't be documenting this one - you'll be inside it.
