If you think Tuscany is just vineyards and olive groves you will be surprised by this place! The Castelvecchio Nature Reserve is located in the countryside of San Gimignano but is characterized by native vegetation such as Mediterranean scrub, woods and ditches carved into the limestone. On the top of a hill, we will reach the archaeological area where we can still distinguish watchtowers, houses, oil mills and churches of the abandoned fortified village called Castelvecchio. This place immersed in the woods, lends itself very well to experience the practice of Forest Bathing; by stimulating our senses we will try to establish a deeper relationship with our surroundings to benefit from the positive effects that nature gives us against stress and anxiety.
